This policy explains what personal information MovieStarJacket collects, why we need it, who we share it with, and how you can see, change or delete it. We only collect what we need to make, ship and support your order, and to run the store.

• To fulfil your order: process payment, make and pack your items, ship them, handle returns and exchanges.
• To support you: answer questions, fix problems, send order and delivery updates.
• To keep the store safe: detect fraud and protect accounts and payments.
• To improve the store: understand which pages and products work, and fix what does not.
• For marketing: send offers by email or text if you subscribe, and show ads based on your visits, where the law allows. You can opt out at any time.
• To meet legal duties: tax records, customs declarations and lawful requests from authorities.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with the businesses that help us run the store:
• Shopify, which hosts our store and checkout.
• Payment processors, which handle card and wallet payments.
• Our production and dispatch team in Dubai, which needs your name, address and order details to make and ship your items.
• Carriers (DHL, FedEx, UPS and Aramex) and customs authorities, which need delivery and contents details to move your parcel across borders.
• Review, email and analytics providers, such as Reviews.io, which help us collect reviews, send emails and understand site use.
• Advertising platforms, which show our ads to people who visited the site. Some privacy laws call this "sharing" or "targeted advertising", and you can opt out as explained below.
• Authorities or a buyer of our business, where the law requires it or if the business changes hands.
We use essential cookies to keep your cart and checkout working, analytics cookies to count visits, and advertising cookies to show relevant ads. Where the law requires consent, advertising and analytics cookies load only after you agree in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time on Your Privacy Choices.
Shopify processes information about your use of the store to provide and improve its services, and it uses some of that information together with data from other merchants for features that help us run the business. For that processing Shopify is responsible, including for your requests about it. Read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy or use the Shopify Privacy Portal.
Your information is stored and processed in the United States, the United Arab Emirates and the countries our carriers pass through. When we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on recognized safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Order and payment records: as long as tax and accounting laws require, typically up to seven years.
• Account details: until you close your account.
• Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe.
• Support messages: as long as needed to resolve your request and any follow up.
After that, we delete the information or make it anonymous.
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
• tell you what personal information we hold and give you a copy;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete your information, unless we must keep it by law;
• stop using it for targeted advertising, or stop "selling" or "sharing" it as some state laws define those words;
• if you live in the EEA or UK, restrict or object to certain uses, and withdraw consent you gave earlier.
How to use your rights: use Your Privacy Choices or Data Sharing Opt Out, or email info@moviestarjacket.com with Privacy Request in the subject line. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We reply within 45 days for United States requests and within one month for EEA and UK requests. An authorized agent can apply for you with your written permission.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sharing for targeted advertising on that browser. We will never treat you differently for using your rights.
Unsubscribing: every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any text. We will still send emails about your orders.
Reply to our decision with Privacy Appeal in the subject line and a different team member will review it. You can also complain to your state attorney general or, in the EEA and UK, to your data protection authority.
Our store runs over encrypted connections, card numbers never reach our systems, and staff can see only the information their job needs. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send card numbers or passwords by email.
The store is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
We will update this page when our practices or the law change, change the date at the top, and email customers about any significant change.
