MovieStarJacket designs and makes leather jackets, coats and vests for men and women. Every piece is cut and sewn at our own facility in Deira, Dubai, and shipped direct to customers around the world, with a customer service office in Saint Petersburg, Florida. We have been making jackets since 2013.
Why the name
The jackets people remember are often ones they first noticed on a screen: a biker jacket with an asymmetric zip, a sheepskin flight bomber, a long leather coat. Those shapes are older than any film, and they are what we build. The name is a nod to that feeling. It is not a claim of any connection to a film, studio, sports league or celebrity. MovieStarJacket is not affiliated with, licensed by or endorsed by any of them.

We work mostly in lambskin, cowhide, suede and sheepskin shearling, with waxed and distressed finishes on some styles. Not every item is leather, so each product page names the exact outer shell and lining. Standard sizes run from 2XS to 4XL for men and women, and some styles can be made to your measurements.
How a jacket is made
- Choosing the hide. Each hide is checked for grain, thickness and marks before it is used, because a flaw in the leather becomes a flaw in the jacket.
- Cutting. Panels are cut from patterns graded for each size on our Size Guide.
- Stitching and lining. Panels are sewn, lined, and fitted with zips, snaps and hardware.
- Final check. Every jacket is inspected for seams, zips, lining and the size label before it is folded and packed.

What we are honest about
We ship from Dubai, so your jacket will not arrive tomorrow; plan on 10 to 18 business days for standard delivery to the United States. Leather is a natural material, so grain and shade vary slightly from the photos and from one jacket to the next. We think that is part of what makes a leather jacket worth owning, but we would rather you know before you order.
