Payment Policy

What we accept

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Maestro, JCB, Diners Club and UnionPay. Google Pay and Shop Pay. Klarna for pay later instalments, where Klarna approves you.

The full set of methods available to you appears at checkout, because availability varies by country and by card issuer. If a method you expected is not there, it is not available for your billing location.

Currency and pricing

All prices are shown and charged in United States dollars.

Prices do not include sales tax. Where sales tax applies to your delivery address it is calculated at checkout and displayed before you confirm, so the total you approve on the final screen is the exact amount that leaves your account.

If your card is issued outside the United States your bank may add a foreign transaction fee and apply its own exchange rate. That fee belongs to your bank, we never see it and we cannot refund it.

Import charges

Orders ship from our facility in Dubai, so parcels crossing a border are treated as imports and may attract duty. Where those charges are calculated at checkout, the total you approve covers them. When you are charged

Your payment method is authorised and charged when you place the order, not when it ships. The order is confirmed once that authorisation succeeds.

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it by charging your payment method and sending confirmation. If we cannot fulfil the order we cancel it and refund in full.

If a payment is declined

The order is held rather than lost, and you get an email explaining what to do. Most declines are the bank blocking an unfamiliar merchant, which one call to your bank fixes.

You have 24 to 48 hours to complete payment. After that the order is released automatically and the stock returns to the shop.

Security

Checkout runs over TLS encryption. Card details go straight to our payment processor and are never stored on our servers, so there is no card data on our systems for anyone to steal. Our processors are PCI DSS certified.

We never ask for your full card number, your PIN or your online banking password by email, phone or message. If you receive a request like that claiming to be from us, it is not from us. Forward it to info@moviestarjacket.com and we will report it.

What appears on your statement

Charges show as MOVIESTARJACKET, or as a shortened variant of it depending on how your bank displays merchant names. If you see a charge you do not recognise, contact us before assuming fraud. It is very often a family member order or an unfamiliar statement descriptor.

Refunds

Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with. We issue them within 10 business days of approving your return, and your bank then takes a further 3 to 10 business days to post it to your statement. We do not charge a restocking fee.

Billing problems and chargebacks

Talk to us first. Email info@moviestarjacket.com or call 541-524-4224 and we will resolve a billing error, a wrong charge or a missing delivery directly, usually the same day.

A chargeback takes weeks to work through your bank, whereas we can refund you in minutes. That is the honest reason we are asking, not a threat.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when our payment providers or obligations change. The date at the top reflects the current version, and the version live on the day you ordered governs your order.
